Institute for Contemporary Buddhist Ministry

Postby Bup Mee on Thu Aug 06, 2015 3:04 am

Good Evening Fellow Buddhist Friends,

I would like to take a moment to introduce you to a new educational program and institute, specifically designed for Buddhist spiritual care, chaplaincy, and contemporary Buddhist ministry & teaching.

The Institute for Contemporary Buddhist Ministry (https://buddhistministry.org) is a non-profit, yet to be accredited, educational organization offering curricula, courses, resources, and support for those interested and engaged in a Buddhist approach to contemplative teaching and pastoral care.

I serve ICBM as the President and one of the Co-Founders and would be greatly humbled and privileged if you would take a few moments to check out our website and program.

We are preparing 3 courses that will launch this Fall semester on Sep. 14. These courses are peer-driven and operate asynchronously online through our own private Moodle platform, so students can work and progress at their own pace.

Our tuition is competitive and reasonable, $40 USD per course, or $100 if you register for all 3 offered courses. Applications are now open and applying is free. (https://buddhistministry.org/application)

Please get in contact with me directly at bupmee@gmail.com or head over to https://buddhistministry.org/contact to drop us a line. We can also schedule a time to speak/meet online through https://venbupmee.youcanbook.me

Thank you for your time and looking forward to hearing from you soon!

In the Dharma,

Bup Mee (Kevin Hickey)

Greetings Brothers & Sisters,

I hope this email finds you well and happy.

This message serves to inform you that the Winter 2017 semester of the Institute for Contemporary Buddhist Ministry (ICBM) is scheduled to begin courses on February 13, 2017.

All new ICBM students must complete ICBM’s application process ($20 application fee) and be admitted before registering for courses. The deadline for new applications is January 15

If you have not yet applied to ICBM, now is the time to take advantage and "lock-in” a low tuition rate of $60/course. Tuition rates are scheduled to increase in the following academic years.

Courses being offered this Winter include:

SPH 812 - Buddhist Ethics & Precepts
MPT 626 - Meditation Methods / Contemplative Practices
MCO 712 - Homiletics & Spiritual Teaching

Please visit ICBM’s website for further information on the program and to apply today. (https://buddhistministry.org)

You may also contact me directly, should you have any questions or concerns.

Good thoughts and wishes for a healthy and happy holiday season and New Year!
