yes, well said. recognizing that everyone is trying his or her best is important. this will allow us to be more understanding.
as a teacher though, a nudge here and there is necessary. not out of vexing judgment but discernment and necessity.

True enough Guo Gu,
as a Tenzo now long ago and one who was never a teacher, there is still the possibility for dharma mates to turn things upside down by example or with laughter for each other... simple as the touch for tossing salad - free and lighty... or heavy and deliberate. It was grace when the nudge escaped without out intention and the kitchen became the heart center. damn, I miss my platform.

Sweatheart,
I don't judge what is being served.... nor should you worry about who likes it.

Oh I never do dear as you can notice from my cooking I take nothing serious alike :)

For instance mom was taking to the hospital yesterday because she could rarely breath, so during visits everyone was like depressed and windy but hospitals are fun to me (like everything) flirting with the nurses the coffeelady, doing wheelchair races through the hospital... lighten up folks. Mom almost died from laughing :)

Is that your mom Fuki? Lucky she has you.... keep her laughing. I've heard you do this... The docs can't. Maybe you are the next Norman Cousins.... he laughed so hard he got well.

:lol2: fun aside, still take care of your body for the benefit of others. chew your food finely, mindfully; eat a balanced diet, while not get so caught up with food too much.

Yes, though getting caught up is a state of mind, some are too much caught up in (the idea of) not getting caught up. I have no mind to get caught up in things, even when caught up in things. :)

the amazing ways in which the eight winds (of gain and loss; fame and shame; praise and ridicule; and joy and sorrow) blow:
