Keizan Jokin Death Poem?

Postby WuMing on Tue Oct 04, 2016 9:50 pm

Hello,

does anybody know if Keizan left a poem before he died? Unfortunately, I can't find one.

I don't know if Keizan left any death poem.

But if we could petition Keizan to say a word from beyond the grave, he might reiterate Dogen's admonition:

    "Life
    and death
    are of supreme importance.
    Time passes quickly
    and opportunity is lost.
    Each of us
    should strive to awaken,
    Awaken!
    Take heed,
    do not squander this life."
